Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen Adults Only All Inclusive
Wyndham Alltra is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort on the beachfront in Playa del Carmen. The Alltra concept positions itself as a younger, more energetic alternative to the traditional all-inclusive format — think social atmosphere, good entertainment, and a beach party vibe rather than quiet luxury.
Location and Setting
The resort sits on beachfront property with direct access to the Caribbean. The location provides both a resort-style beach experience and reasonable proximity to Playa del Carmen’s town centre, meaning guests can enjoy the best of both worlds — poolside relaxation during the day and 5th Avenue nightlife in the evening. The property faces east, which means beautiful sunrise views over the water.
Rooms and What Is Included
Rooms are comfortable and contemporary, with air conditioning, wifi, and in-room amenities you would expect from a Wyndham property. The all-inclusive package is comprehensive — multiple restaurants, unlimited drinks at several bars, a pool and beach area, entertainment programming, and fitness facilities. The food covers a range of cuisines, and the quality is solid for the all-inclusive category. Evening entertainment and themed events are a regular feature.
Who It Suits
The adults-only format and social atmosphere make this a natural choice for couples, groups of friends, and solo travellers who want a fun, sociable resort experience. It suits honeymooners who want romance paired with a lively atmosphere and guests celebrating birthdays or special occasions. The all-inclusive format removes financial stress, letting you enjoy without constantly checking prices. Not suited for families with children or travellers seeking a quiet, contemplative retreat.
