Playacar Palace All Inclusive
Playacar Palace is a premium all-inclusive resort set within the gated Playacar community, one of the most exclusive residential areas in Playa del Carmen. This is a property for guests who want a polished, full-service resort experience with a private beach and high-end facilities without leaving the grounds.
Location and Setting
Playacar is a gated community at the southern end of Playa del Carmen, separated from the main town by a short walk or taxi ride. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe, and lushly landscaped — a different world from the energy of 5th Avenue. The resort sits directly on the beach, and the stretch of sand here is among the best maintained in the area. The Playacar golf course is nearby, and the main town centre is accessible within 10 to 15 minutes on foot.
Rooms and What Is Included
Rooms are spacious and finished to a high standard, with ocean or garden views, air conditioning, premium bedding, and well-appointed bathrooms. The all-inclusive package is comprehensive — multiple restaurants, unlimited drinks at several bars, a full-service spa, a fitness centre, and water sports equipment. The restaurants offer genuine variety, from Mexican cuisine to international options, and the quality is consistent. Room service is included in the all-inclusive rate.
Who It Suits
Playacar Palace is ideal for couples seeking a romantic getaway and honeymooners who want a luxurious, hassle-free experience. It also suits families who prefer a controlled, safe environment with excellent facilities. The resort is not suited for budget travellers or those who want to immerse themselves in the local town atmosphere — Playacar is deliberately set apart from the bustle. If your priority is a beautiful beach, excellent service, and not having to think about logistics, this is a strong choice.
