Yucatán will seek to position itself nationally and internationally as a renewable energy hub, resuming the 19 that currently exist and implementing Tizimín 2, with an initial investment of 140 million dollars, revealed the secretary of the Yucatán Energy Agency, Pablo Gamboa Miner, being one of the first clean energy investments in the country.
He explained that the Agency would have the task of regulating all the energy in the state that was in a pending state of disarray, in addition, it would boost again the energies that were stopped for seven years and create new ones that would benefit not only the country but will position Yucatán at a global level.
He assured that the entity has five clean energy parks and has enormous potential to become an energy and well-being hub.
In this sense, he announced a private investment of 140 million dollars for the Tizimín 2 Wind Farm which will seek to start in March of next year.
