With the aim of promoting the empowerment of artisans and entrepreneurs, the State Government, through the Yucatecan Institute of Entrepreneurs (IYEM), signed a collaboration agreement with the National Chamber of the Clothing Industry (CANAIVE) Yucatan Delegation, which will allow them to promote their products under more attractive conditions for their clients.
In this regard, the head of IYEM, Salvador Vitelli Macías, indicated that among these benefits, stands out access to the CANAIVE Photolab, state-of-the-art digital equipment for taking photographs, which will allow them to promote their products with larger images and more attractive digital catalogues.
He explained that other advantages granted to them by signing the agreement is that they will have preferential wholesale prices for their inputs, which will be reflected in greater competitiveness.
In addition, he explained, with this agreement that was signed in the presence of the members of the Council, they will offer discounts for those who wish to join the chamber when their businesses and crafts are in stages of growth, so they can benefit from the business organization experience on how to positively impact their activities.
Another advantage they obtain with the signing of the agreement is the reach that the Institute has in the interior of the state, through the State Centers for Entrepreneurs, which are strategically distributed and will support them so that their work achieves better results.
Finally, Vitelli Macías announced that a registry of artisans and entrepreneurs will be created at the state level, in order to implement strategies that promote their talents and production capacities.
