On the morning of Friday, April 26, a tree was reported to have accidentally fallen on a vehicle traveling on the Holcá-Tibolón road that connects these two communities.
Fortunately for motorists, no injuries were reported, but authorities urge extreme caution when traveling on highways in the state’s interior.
Driving on rural roads this time of the year is highly dangerous due to the fire season, as well as strong winds that cause branches and even trees to fall, as in this case.
The accident prompted the mobilization of emergency personnel to clear the road.
