The Transportation and Urban Mobility Department is continuing signage work in school zones, pedestrian crossings, and designated spaces for people with disabilities in various parts of the municipality.
At the direction of Mayor Erik Rihani González, staff from the department are also making progress in repainting road surfaces, intending to improve visibility and safety for those traveling on the streets, as well as in designated spaces for people with disabilities, reported the head of the department, Rodrigo Manzanilla.
He also highlighted that the process of issuing student ID cards continues, allowing young people to access discounts on public transportation. To complete this process, it is necessary to present proof of education or a student ID, proof of address, and proof of payment.
It should be noted that these actions are part of the municipal “100xProgreso” program, through its Constant Progress program, which promotes a culture of road safety.
Finally, the municipal official made the telephone number 969 103 9502 available to the public to request information or submit reports related to transportation and mobility issues.
