President Claudia Sheinbaum to visit Yucatán on Saturday, October 19th

President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo confirmed that this weekend she will visit the states of Campeche and Yucatán as part of her work tour

President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo confirmed that this weekend she will visit Yucatán as part of a tour that she will lead in two states of the Peninsula.

During her morning press conference at the National Palace, the President of Mexico announced that this weekend she will go on a work tour again to continue with the meetings with the governors.

This Friday, October 18, she will arrive in Tabasco, and then head to Campeche in the evening, where she will spend the night to continue her tour on Saturday, October 19.

Later, on Saturday she will travel to Mérida, Yucatán, where she will also remain until Sunday, October 20, to continue with her pending work.

During her visit to Yucatán, Claudia Sheinbaum is expected to meet with Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena to discuss the work that will be carried out as part of the ‘Maya Renaissance’ project.

In addition, topics will be discussed regarding the integration of Yucatán into the IMSS-Bienestar program, the connection of the Mayan Train with Puerto Progreso and other projects that will be carried out in the state.

Also, at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, President Claudia Sheinbaum will lead an event in Progreso on the IMSS-Bienestar and the Pension for people with disabilities.
