Another Oxxo store robber in Merida was arrested: this Friday, November 22, by officers of the Public Security Secretariat. The subject, only 25 years of age, was identified as the author of this crime.

This is Jonathan R. A., a platform delivery man originally from Yucatan, who is accused of allegedly robbing an Oxxo branch located on 31st Street between 88th and 90th in Ciudad Caucel, last Friday the 15th.

That day, the subject entered the aforementioned establishment of the commercial chain wearing a motorcycle helmet, which he did not take off during the robbery, threatening the employee at the cash register with a replica of a firearm.

However, during the investigation, he was recognized for his physical characteristics, so an arrest warrant was issued against him.

Yesterday, members of the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) located and arrested the alleged person responsible for the theft.

With this subject, there are now five people arrested and accused of participating in robberies of different businesses in the west and east of the city, this just in the last week.
