Man suffers a sudden heart attack in the Francisco de Montejo neigborhood

A man died in the middle of the street on the night of Thursday, April 3, in the Francisco de Montejo neighborhood.

According to the report, the fatal incident occurred after the man left a taco shop, located on 61st Street between 53rd and 54th streets in the aforementioned neighborhood.

The man had gone to buy dinner at the taco shop, but upon leaving, he suddenly collapsed.

Initial reports indicate that the now-deceased suffered a sudden heart attack, leaving his body lying on the pavement.

Seeing him collapse, diners in the restaurant called 911 for help. Moments later, paramedics from the Ministry of Public Security arrived. Upon assessing the victim, they were unable to do anything, as they had no vital signs and could only confirm his death.

State agents cordoned off the scene and closed the street to vehicles while the investigation was carried out.

The officers notified the State Attorney General’s Office and awaited its personnel, who would take charge of the corresponding work. Shortly after, personnel from the Forensic Medical Service arrived and took charge of the body of the unfortunate man.
