Man arrested for animal cruelty in Kanasin

A man was arrested after being accused of animal abuse in Kanasín, for allegedly attacking a dog with a machete.

The Kanasín City Council reported that yesterday afternoon it arrested Jonathan Alexander S. H., 32 years old, as the alleged person responsible for having macheted a dog in the Cielo Alto subdivision.

The events occurred on October 20th at approximately 4:30 p.m. when a report was received that the aforementioned person had attacked a dog with a machete, so units of the corporation moved to 30th Street with 181 of Althea 4 of the Cielo Alto subdivision, in Kanasin.

There, neighbors of the place identified him as the alleged person responsible for the aggression toward the animal, so he was arrested and transferred to the public jail, to later be reported to the Public Ministry by filing a complaint for the events.

The dog was treated by Officer Karla Guadalupe González Ocampo, of the Kanasín Ecological Police so that he could be transferred to a veterinary clinic to provide him with the necessary medical care.
