José Molina Casares is the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Mérida (Canaco Servytur) for the period 2025, replacing Levy Abraham Macari who concluded his term.

After taking the oath before the plenary session of the Elective Assembly, the new leader announced his work plan consisting of 11 strategic axes that have as their main objective the promotion and impulse of formal commerce in Yucatán and the growth of tourism services in the state.

The plan of the new council is made up of the following axes: Attention to Members, Training, SIEM Registration, Delegations, Commercial Development, Legal Services, Social Welfare, Active Participation, Special Events, Women and Young Entrepreneurs, in addition to Communication and Administration.

Molina Casares mentioned that cordiality will be maintained in the work with the three levels of government to generate an ideal business environment.

“A year full of challenges and new opportunities awaits us. There will be significant changes, and it is essential that commitment and joint effort be the key to our success,” he said.

During his last speech as president, Levy Abraham Macari thanked the board that accompanied him during the last year of his administration and also presented his last report in which he shared the main achievements at the head of this Chamber.

Finally, José Enrique Molina thanked and highlighted the commitment of the outgoing president, mentioning that they will continue working in favor of the commerce in Yucatan.
