On November 2nd there will be the feature presentation of Mexican singer and recording artist Eugenia León, in Playa del Carmen’s 28 de Julio Plaza.
The government of Solidaridad announced the celebration of Hanal Pixán “Pixano’ob Sáacil óol, finados seres de luz” from October 31st to November 3rd, which includes the performance of Eugenia León, on November 2nd in the 28 de Julio plaza.
Authorities announced the series of celebrations for the Day of the Dead, which will extend to various points of the city. The meeting places, in addition to the municipal cemetery, will be on Quinta Avenida, Villas del Sol, and the Puerto Aventuras mayor’s office.
The program of activities will begin on Thursday 31st with the lighting of the Hanal Pixán magic altar in the 28 de Julio Plaza, at 7 pm. On Friday, starting at 11 a.m., the inauguration of the graphic Tzompantli in the gallery of the municipal palace in downtown Playa del Carmen.
On Saturday, starting at 6:30 p.m., the traditional parade will start on Constituyentes Avenue all the way to Plaza 28 de Julio.
At 10 p.m., singer Eugenia León will perform at Plaza 28 de Julio, a star artist whose last performance in this city occurred on February 14, 2019.
The municipal cemetery, located in the Luis Donaldo Colosio neighborhood, will be open 24 hours a day between November 1 and 2. The authority announced that alcohol consumption will not be allowed within premises.
The schedule with more than 30 events in various parts of Solidaridad is available on the official Facebook page of Imcas. At the same time, various educational, cultural, and civil institutions will also hold events that will begin on Wednesday, October 30th.
