During her working tour of Yucatan, President Claudia Sheinbaum did not hesitate to show her support for Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena, better known as “Huacho.”
At the start of construction on the Maya Train freight train, Sheinbaum called Díaz Mena “the hardest-working governor in the country,” highlighting that he starts his shift at 5 a.m. and visits communities to closely address the needs of the people.
“He’s working from early in the morning until late. You see opponents criticize everything, but Huacho is one of the best. There was a great governor here many years ago, Carrillo Puerto, but Huacho is going to put Yucatán in the eyes of the world,” Sheinbaum told hundreds of attendees.
The president also affirmed that Díaz Mena is “one of the best” within the Fourth Transformation movement and reiterated her confidence in the project he leads in Yucatán.
