Bull Rescued After Falling into a Ditch in Umán

Officers from the Umán Municipal Police Coordinated Unit, firefighters from the Public Security Service, and residents of the Xcucul Sur police station set out last night to rescue a large bull that had fallen into what is considered a cave.

According to official sources, José de la Cruz, the owner of the bull, stated that while searching for it, he noticed the animal had fallen into the hole. He quickly called 911, requesting assistance in rescuing the bull.

A rescue unit from the SSP fire department, several municipal and state police units, along with a private tow truck arrived at the scene. With the help of ropes and harnesses, they managed to tie up the ruminant, and with the help of a crane, it was pulled out of the hole, leaving it safe and sound on the surface. The local commissioner expressed his gratitude for the support received from the emergency teams and the people who helped rescue the bovine.
