Boma Desarrollos lays the first stone of the new Country Lakes housing complex in Hunucmá

The Real Estate development company Boma Desarrollos laid the first stone that will start the first stage of the Country Lakes project, in the municipality of Hunucmá. The housing complex is expected to be completed in 2030.

“We are materializing a development with a large-scale urban, environmental, and social vision,” said Alberto Miranda, founding partner and general director of Boma Desarrollos.

The entire development comprises 1,110 hectares of land. According to Boma Desarrollos, Country Lakes is its flagship project. The investment in Country Lakes is 7 billion pesos, and it is estimated that it will generate 3,000 direct jobs and around 7,000 indirect jobs in various productive sectors.

The master plan for this development includes the construction of a world-class 18-hole golf course, as well as clubhouses. These projects were done on private property and buyers will have one hundred percent legal certainty of their land.

“We focus on a single-family market with lots of this type, but also on macro lots. This allows a builder to come and develop and invest in Yucatan.”

This means better opportunities for Yucatecan families, more economic growth for the region, and, above all, a development that seeks to integrate sustainably with the natural environment.

Country Lakes will have 450 hectares of environmental conservation in addition to the lakes and parks, which represent more than 60 percent of the green area territory in the development.

The price of the lots ranges from one and a half million pesos, up to 15 million pesos and up. The estimated profit per lot will grow by around 300 percent in the first 5 years.

“In the first 60 months we have planned to reach 300 percent of performance,” said Alberto Miranda.

For her part, local deputy Sayda Rodríguez Gómez mentioned that the real estate development plan by Boma Desarrollos internalizes the issue of respect for the environment and is part of the recommendations of the Secretariat of Sustainable Development.

The first stage of Country Lake will be ready by 2026, this implies the completion of the main access and the nearest roads.

In December 2028, the first clubhouse will be delivered as part of the second stage, as well as the first main section of the complex, and its second access portico. This second stage includes the construction of the first nine holes of the golf course.
