On Wednesday, October 30th, around 3 in the afternoon, another tragic accident occurred during the construction of the elevated viaduct in Progreso, at the height of 80th Street, which has resulted in the death of at least one person so far.
At the scene, it was discovered that a beam that was being transported ended up falling on some workers, at the height of 80th Street.
The accident occurred around 5 p.m.; in addition to the worker who lost his life and who has not been identified, it was revealed that there was a worker who was seriously injured.
State police and paramedics, as well as other authorities, attended the site.
It is worth remembering that a few weeks ago another tragedy occurred at this same mega project when a worker accidentally fell from more than 20 meters high.
It was precisely on October 2 when this tragedy occurred at the height of 80th Street by 91st, at the exit of the port, where José “N”, a 46-year-old employee, died.
