ADO employee dies from a heart attack while traveling on a bus to Celestún

An ADO employee died after suffering a heart attack while traveling on a bus to Celestún.

The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12th, right on the corner of 33rd Street and 18th Street in the Tres Reyes neighborhood of Hunucmá, Yucatan.

The Volvo bus was transporting company employees to a baseball game when one of them, who suffered from high blood pressure, began to feel ill.

In response to the emergency, the driver diverted to Hunucmá to call for help.

A Municipal Police paramedic treated the employee, who suffered a cardiac arrest and became unconscious.

Despite CPR and his transfer to the Hunucmá Social Security Institute (IMSS), the on-duty doctor confirmed his death minutes later.
