Agents of the Tixkokob Municipal Police arrested an adult with a minor inside a car on a lonely road in the middle of a dirt road in this municipality.
On Monday, April 14, municipal police officers arrested José A.G.E., a teacher in the marching band of the Yucatán High School (Cobay) when he was caught with a minor inside his car on a dirt road on the Euán-Cacalchén Highway.
Officers notified the minor’s parents of the incident, and she was later released into the custody of her relatives.
As far as we know, the minor’s relatives filed a criminal complaint with the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) for alleged sexual abuse against the 17-year-old girl, who is a member of the marching band.
The State Investigative Police (PEI), will begin an investigation to determine whether sexual abuse occurred and determine who was responsible.
