The overall winner of this year’s rally was a 1978 Porsche 911 Targa; all the aid planned in the social responsibility plan was delivered.
The eleventh edition of the Rally Maya México (RMM) concluded with a gala dinner at the Quinta Montes Molina, on the emblematic “Paseo de Montejo” in Mérida, Yucatán.
After five stages and a route of more than 1,200 kilometers through the most outstanding tourist, archaeological, and historical sites of the Yucatán Peninsula, this edition of the rally reaffirmed its prestige as one of the most important classic motorsports events internationally.
On this occasion, the overall championship title went to the team formed by Jorge Luis Machuca and Estela Rascón, who, driving a 1978 Porsche 911 Targa, recorded a deviation of just 2:19.71 minutes from the estimated optimal Rally time for the different stages. This remarkable performance, key in a regular competition such as this, earned them the coveted “Corazón Maya” trophy.
The RMM organizers, along with sponsors such as the Alejo Peralta and Telmex-Telcel Foundations, Franck Müller, and some of the Rally participants, carried out social responsibility activities. These included the distribution of wheelchairs, bicycles, and medical treatments, in addition to the ninth Type 1 Childhood Diabetes Camp.
A significant donation was also made to the Vida y Familia A.C. Foundation, which provides support to pregnant women in vulnerable situations.
“We are very pleased with the success of RMM 2025. We achieved the goals of participation, tourism promotion, and social responsibility that we had set for ourselves. We are sure that the participants, sponsors, and partners of the Rally feel equally proud of this eleventh edition,” stated Rodrigo Villanueva, President of Rally Maya México.

Following the success of this edition of the Rally Maya México (RMM), preparations will begin for the next. Although the dates and routes are yet to be determined, the commitment to keeping this tradition alive remains firm: to hold one of the most spectacular competitions in the world, which brings together the best-preserved collector vehicles and promotes tourism and the culture of the Yucatán Peninsula.
Regarding the different categories, the winners were:
Category A (vehicles manufactured until 1949): 1949 Cadillac Convertible driven by Claudio Villa and Luis Manuel Sánchez.
Category B (vehicles manufactured between 1950 and 1969): 1967 Triumph TR4, crewed by Pedro and Pablo Del Paso.
Category C (vehicles manufactured between 1970 and 1985): 1979 Porsche 911 Targa, crewed by Jorge Luis Machuca and Estala Rascón.
