The Rally Maya Mexico 2025 Arrives in Motul and Izamal

Motul and Izamal, two important cities in Yucatán, recently welcomed the cars participating in the Rally Maya 2025.

This Friday, April 4th, the Rally Maya arrived in Motul, where the vintage cars captivated residents as they passed through the city streets.

A group of revelers welcomed visitors by performing colorful vaquería tricks, while the vintage cars and their drivers took a short tour through the streets of downtown Motul.

From the entrance to the city, lines of people formed to admire the vintage cars that arrived as part of the rally, as part of their tour of the Yucatán Peninsula.

The rally is held by a group of 75 vintage cars parked in the city center, where numerous families, visitors, and even students from various schools come to admire them and take pictures with them. Likewise, Izamal’s main square became a vibrant scene during the penultimate day of the rally. Dozens of enthusiasts gathered to admire the classic vehicles, which tour the Yucatán Peninsula in this prestigious competition.

The Maya Rally, now in its 11th edition, has attracted participants from Mexico, Europe, Central America, and South America, establishing itself as one of the most important automotive events in the region.

The rally’s arrival in Izamal not only represented a showcase of historic automobiles, but also an opportunity for visitors to explore the cultural and culinary richness of the Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town).

The event has boosted tourism in Yucatán, allowing attendees to discover the traditions, colonial architecture, and local cuisine. Merchants and service providers have benefited from the influx of visitors.

Since its launch on March 28, the Maya Rally Mexico 2025 has traveled to iconic sites such as Bacalar, Chetumal, Campeche, Mérida, and Izamal. During the journey, participants have had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history and traditions of the region. In addition, the route includes visits to archaeological sites, allowing attendees to learn about the peninsula’s cultural heritage. This unique experience combines a passion for classic cars with the sharing of the region’s history.
