A real estate businessman was found dead with a gunshot wound in the Altamira private subdivision.
A real estate businessman was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head, in what appears to be a case of suicide.
The events occurred in the aforementioned subdivision near Villas de Cholul, where a young man reported that he arrived at his father’s house, after not having heard from him.
However, upon entering the property he found his father in a pool of blood and in his right hand he was holding a revolver-type firearm.
Frightened, the boy notified the authorities and SSP paramedics arrived who could only confirm the death.
The area was filled with agents from the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) and the State Investigation Police (PEI) of the Homicide and Injury Command.
The causes of the violent incident are still unknown, and unofficially there is talk that the man attempted to take his own life, but it will be up to the authorities to determine this, together with the Attorney General of the State of Yucatan.
