A woman was involved in an incident on Tuesday, December 17 at the Mérida airport after she could not buy her plane ticket and reach her destination.
The young woman tried to buy a plane ticket, but her card was declined, so she got upset and made a fuss at the airline service. The National Guard had to intervene.
It was reported on social media that the woman had tried to get into the luggage area to board the plane, which would be false.
However, after she could not buy her ticket, she became upset and began to take her things out of her bag, not her suitcase, as stated in photos circulating on social media. She did this action in protest because he could not buy his ticket.
Airline personnel requested the support of elements of the National Guard, who intervened to calm the woman. Once calmed, the agents escort her outside the facilities. Since she did not commit a “crime”, she was not arrested nor had any sanctions.
