Mexico City (AICM) and Santa Lucia (AIFA) airports closed this Friday, November 22, causing delays at the Merida terminal
Due to the closure of Mexico City airport as a consequence of dense fog, two aircraft from Bogota, Colombia, and Lima, Peru, landed this Friday, November 22 at the Merida air terminal, while Aeromexico canceled the arrival of flights 820, 822, and 824 that had been rescheduled until 1033 hours from the metropolis, as well as Volaris flights 220 and 7110 that are expected to arrive at 0837 and 0923 with an hour and a half and two hours delay.
As for the departure of flights to the capital of the country, only flight 7350 was able to depart at 0655 hours of VivaAerobús, but it arrived at the Santa Lucía airport and flights 221 and 711 of Volaris delayed, which were supposed to leave at 0751 and 0825 and were rescheduled until 0921 and 1006.
The latter to the Santa Lucía terminal, while Aeroméxico delayed the departure of its flights 825 and 827, from 0900 and 1028 to 1118 hours, and only flight 823 operated at 0708, of which there is no information whether it left or is still on the apron where five Aeroméxico planes can be seen.
