There will be no room for more merchants in the Mérida en Domingo program, as stated by the director of prosperity and economic well-being, Mauricio Díaz Montalvo.
“There is no room for more people, there are 135 crafts vendors and 33 food vendors, so there will be no more of that, but we will create other programs in other spaces, and they will be able to participate.”
On this topic, he stressed that they are going to work to create events in other areas of the city so that those who cannot enter Mérida on Sunday have an alternative.
On this same topic, Díaz Montalvo said that one month after the return of the program to La Palza Grande, the sellers have expressed being very happy and a notable increase in sales.
“They are happy to return to the big square, they say that they are doing very well and we are seeing some improvements that we will gradually apply.”
