On Tuesday, November 5, a young man climbed to the highest part of a high-voltage tower on Paseo Verde in Mérida.
The incident kept neighbors, police officers, and the young man’s relatives on alert for more than an hour. They did not know why he climbed the tower.
Finally, the teenager decided to climb down on his own after an hour up the tower.
The boy, apparently a high school student, climbed the tower and from there began sending messages using his cell phone, so his family came.
The events happened in the area of 26th Street with 7 and 5-I of the Juan Pablo II subdivision.
An intense operation by the authorities was carried out and the little boy even asked a classmate to come, and after long minutes, he decided to go down on his own. He was treated by paramedics as soon as he came down from the tower, who confirmed that he was fine.
