Belizean artists perform at Expofer Chetumal

Caribbean rhythms will sound loud when the “Reggae and Punta Night” kicks off at Chetumal’s Fair.

The Expofer Chetumal 2024 Southern Border Fair closes with everything in Quintana Roo Park, and today Friday, the legion of Belizean artists “Punta Fest 2024 Volume One” will take over the Great Stage.

The legion of artists from the country of Belize who will perform at the “Punta Fest 2024 Volume One” is made up of Punta Generals Band, Vida, Taprick El Sheriff, Hubee, Nuru, Wold Famous Aziatic, Harlem Youth, Reckes Flores and Supa-G.

But the Caribbean rhythms at the Expofer Chetumal 2024 Southern Border Fair will begin at 7:00 p.m., when the “Reggae and Punta Night” begins, with the presentation of Roots & Flowers and Kingston Band, to continue with the local bands Hierba Santa and Korto Circuito and close tonight with the “Punta Fest 2024 Volume One”.

As if that were not enough, tomorrow Saturday’s grand concert will be headlined by the presentation of Alicia Villarreal, starting at 9:00 p.m., after a performance by the Oaxaca Folkloric Ballet, the musical organization “La Rockote-K” and the group “Son Latinos”, starting at 6:00 p.m.

The grand closing of the artistic portfolio of the Expofer Chetumal 2024 Southern Border Fair will be on Sunday, November 3, and the person in charge of coming on stage at the last concert on the Great Stage of Parque Quintana Roo will be Gloria Trevi, a presentation scheduled at 9:30 p.m.

But before Gloria Trevi’s concert, the atmosphere will be heated with the Battle of the Bands between Bloody Maid, Chetumbados, Small Universe, and Muñecas Rusas, at the Cultural Arena.

On the Great Stage, at 7:00 p.m., the artistic presentation of “La Sombra del Chechén” will take place, to continue with 432 and Los Harroson’s, to later give way to the Gloria Trevi concert.

The Expofer Chetumal 2024 Southern Border Fair began on October 18 and ends on November 3, at the fairgrounds of Parque Quintana Roo.
