The 2024 Olimpo Season begins in October with new musical proposals and literary activities that strengthen the cultural offering of Mérida.
In this way, the Mérida City Council and its municipal president Cecilia Patrón Laviada continue to work on a comprehensive project to continue promoting culture in the municipality.
The activities of the Meridana Week will be carried out normally, this Saturday the “Noche Mexicana” will take place at the Remate del Paseo de Montejo, and the representation of the Mayan ball game “Pok Ta Pok” in the San Sebastián Park.
“Mérida en Domingo” will be in the Plaza Grande, as it has been since last week, with the artisanal offer and its artistic program.
On Monday the 7th the traditional “Vaquería Yucateca” will return to the lower part of the Municipal Palace, with the performance of the Ballet Folclórico Titular and the Orquesta Jaranera at 9 at night.
